Kurz je určen pro studenty se vstupní znalostí na úrovni minimálně B1-, kteří se připravují na zkoušku Akademické čtení. Vyučovacím jazykem je čeština.
Náplní kurzu je nácvik základních receptivní dovednosti čtení s porozuměním a čtení / překlad textu z vlastního oboru.
Výuka bude probíhat prezenčně
Od r. 2021/22 je předmět zakončen atestací a současně je v záměnnosti se samostatnou zkouškou Akademické čtení v rámci společného základu (ASZNJ2000).
V praxi to znamená, že student, který má ve studijním plánu předepsánu zkoušku společného základu „Cizí jazyk II - Akademické čtení“ si může vybrat, zda se zapíše na samostatnou Zk – kód ASZNJ2000, nebo se zapíše do kurzu „Akademické čtení“ - kód ASZNJ3050, zakončeného Zk. Zkouška z kurzu mu pak automaticky splní povinnost zkoušky z 2. jazyka ve společném základu (kód ASZNJ2000 si tedy už student nezapisuje).
Do kurzu se mohou zapsat i studenti, kteří Zk z němčiny jako 2. jazyka nepotřebují, ale chtějí se zlepšit v práci s odborným cizojazyčným textem, rozšířit si slovní zásobu a seznámit se se složitějšími gramatickými strukturami.
Předmět akademické čtení doporučujeme též studentům jako doplňkový předmět při přípravě na ústní odbornou část Zk B2.
Vstupní úroveň bude prověřena diagnostickým lexikálně-gramatickým testem na začátku kurzu.

The course is designed for students on at least B1 level as a preparation for the Academic Reading exam. The language of tuition is Czech.
The course is conceived as training of basic reading comprehension skills and reading/translation of a scholarly text from student’s own field of study.
NEW from 2021/22, the course ends with an exam and is also interchangeable with the separate exam Academic Reading in the Common Core (ASZNJ2000).
In practice, this means that a student who has the Common Core exam "Foreign Language II - Academic Reading" prescribed in the curriculum can choose to enroll in the stand-alone exam - code ASZNJ2000, or enroll in the course "Academic Reading" - code ASZNJ3050, ending with an exam. The course exam will then automatically fulfill the requirement for the 2nd language exam in the common core (so the student doesn´t enroll for the code ASZNJ2000).
Students who do not need the exam in German as a second language but want to improve their work with professional foreign language texts, expand their vocabulary and become familiar with more complex grammatical structures can also enroll in the course.
We also recommend the course Academic Reading as a supplementary subject in preparation for the oral professional part of an exam B2.

Cíl předmětu -
Studenti budou znát typické jazykové struktury odborných textů v němčině.
Studenti budou schopni používat strategie pro orientaci v textu, pro výběr klíčových informací a pro hledání odpovědí na vlastní otázky
Studenti budou schopni samostatně vyhledávat odborné texty týkající se jejich studijního oboru.
Při práci s textem z vlastního předmětu si studenti rozšíří i odbornou slovní zásobu.

Students will be familiar with the typical linguistic structures of academic texts in German.
Students will be able to use strategies to navigate through a text, to select key information and to find answers to their own questions.
Students will be able to independently search for academic texts related to their field of study.
Students will also expand their academic vocabulary when working with a text from their own subject.

Podmínky zakončení předmětu -
Atestace se uděluje na základě pravidelné účasti na výuce, plnění zadaných úkolů, aktivní spolupráce v kurzu a závěrečného testu / závěrečné konzultace.
Hodnocení: 70% práce v kurzu, 30% závěrečný test / závěrečná konzultace.
