Obsah předmětu vychází z tradiční farmakoergasie , nyní je však plně inovován prvky moderních agrotechnik, agrochemie, poznatky z rostlinné ekologie a fytopatologie. Výuka je realizovaná formou přednášek, praktických cvičení v laboratoři a na zahradě léčivých rostlin.

This is a subject which provides a whole complex of elementary knowledge necessary for the basic understanding of problems in the field of medicinal plant growing. The general classification of medicinal plants from the point of biochemical processes and the length of ontogenesis are followed by the fundamentals of pedology, climatology, practical aspects of growing, phytopathology, plant protection, and cultivation.
