Kurz představuje praktickou teologii jako teorii praxe, přičemž zkoumá její úlohu, předmět, metody a dílčí disciplíny. Zaměřuje se na rozmanité praktiky, které utvářejí sociální realitu křesťanského života, s důrazem na porozumění jejich kulturnímu, teologickému a existenciálnímu významu. Cílem kurzu je rozvíjet schopnost kriticky reflektovat tuto praxi, navrhovat vhodnou pastorační, teologickou a duchovní podporu a seznámit se současnou diskusí v oblasti praktické teologie.

The aim of the seminar is to introduce the field of practical theology and its particular disciplines and at the same time to practise the methodology of reading and interpreting theological texts.

Podmínky zakončení předmětu -
Předpokladem zápočtu je pravidelná účast na výuce (max. 2-3 zůvodněné absence), vypracování 4 kratších úkolů a písemná proseminární práce na zadané téma (8-10 stran).

Credit requirements include regular attendance in class (maximum 2–3 justified absences), the completion of four short assignments, and a written proseminar paper on an assigned topic (8–10 pages).
