In the first year the emphasis is placed on speaking and comprehending skills.
After passing students should understand everyday communication situations and be able to respond to them. During the course they develop all their language skills and become acquainted with Czech system of cases and tenses, imperative, conditional. Topics of the lessons relate to real life practise in the Czech republic, so students should be able to handle specific practical situations in a real environment. In the first year students develop especially their comprehending and speaking skills. Emphasis is not placed on grammatical structures. After passing students should understand everyday communication situations and be able to respond to them (Requests and apologies, ads - housing, doctor, services - interview with the repairer etc.). Topics of the lessons relate real life practise in the Czech republic, so students should handle specific situations in a real environment. The second year will be more focused on Czech grammar system (according to current needs of students). The course will take into account issues related to student´s learning focus and themes of their thesis, Czech history and culture. Students develop their reading and writing skills.
