During the practice before state examination in Internal Medicine, students will be involved in working in the inpatient stations of the internal medicine departments under the supervision of a supervisor assigned to them.
Students will be involved in the ward work in the extent similar to medical graduates. They should be involved in the admissions and discharge procedures of the patients and participate in ward rounds. Depending on the routines and rules of the admitting department, the student may assist in some procedures or perform them under the supervision of the supervisor.
