Sylabus

Integrated block in the 5th grade (30 hrs - lectures/4 hrs, seminars+training/26 hrs) finished by test and examination. Structure and form of the subject adapted according to the syllabi employed in other EU countries finalizes hte basic part of the subject (Preventive dentistry I.). Practical training includes the non-invasive detection of inicial carious lesions, the risk assessment of carious attack, techniques of minimally interventions in the trtetment of dental caries and of topical paalications of preventive and prophylactic means. Theoreticval part of the block includes survey of the principles of public health dentistry. Presentation material for lectures and seminars is published in http://el.lf1.cuni.cz.
