Annotation
As part of the course, students will become familiar with the issues of plaque-related diseases and their consequences; diseases of the oral mucosa, salivary glands, and jaw joint; orofacial traumatology and oncology; consultative dental examination; drug-induced conditions in the oral cavity; and swelling and pain in the orofacial region. Differential diagnosis of the most common diseases in the orofacial area will also be covered.

Aim of the course

Results:

  1. Student will obtain theoretical knowledge about basic clinical problems in dentistry.
  2. Student will obtain basic practical skills in diagnosis of oral diseases including salivary glands and temporomandibular joint.
