Requirements to the exam

Credit  First and second semesters are finished by credit. Students are required to attend all practical classes. The knowledge is verified during practical classes. Each student has to elaborate a document about the patient. When students are absent from one practical class, they have to complete the knowledge without compensation of the practical class. If there are two or more absences of practical lessons, the individual approach is caried out. After the agreement with the teacher, the students ought to compensate the practical lessons, students have to be able to complete patients status.
 
Examination  Rigorous examination ought to be passed by the students who have credit in infectology and epidemiology in the winter and summer semesters, have handed case history and passes a written examination.

1.   Epidemiology: European and Czech surveillance of infectious diseases (Polcarová). Infectology: Differential diagnosis of exanthematic diseases (Prášil). Verification of knowledge, practical training in patients.


2.   Epidemiology: Epidemiology of respiratory infections (Hanovcová). Infectology: Antibiotics in clinical practice (Prášil).Verification of knowledge, practical training in patients.


3.   Epidemiology: Epidemiology of HIV/AIDS (Smetana). Infectology: Neuroinfections in childhood (Kosina) Verification of knowledge, practical training in patients.


4.   Epidemiology: Epidemiology and prophylaxis of lyssa, invasive meningococcal infection. Tick-born encephalitis and other anthrophozoonosis (Smetana). Infectology: Clostridium difficile infection ( Machač) Verification of knowledge, practical training in patients.


5.   Epidemiology: Epidemiology of parasitic infections (Smetana)  Infectology: Lyme Disease.
