The subject is focused on the technique and basics of skiing didactics. It takes place in the form of course teaching, the contents of which are theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the field of downhill and cross-country skiing. The content is basic skiing skills in context and their use in teaching downhill and cross-country skiing.

Training of basic skiing skills on downhill and cross-country skis, use of basic skiing skills in practice when teaching downhill and cross-country skiing. Theoretical knowledge for the implementation of LK.

The graduate will be able to teach children and pupils of kindergartens, primary and secondary schools using face-to-face, game, task and competition methods. He can teach from the very beginning to the transition to the basics of parallel skiing. In the analysis, he is able to perceive the basic skiing skills and their involvement and the optimal position of individual body segments. Can apply preparatory exercises based on analysis. He is able to perform a basic arc in a turning position (plow) with the involvement of all skiing skills and he can perform a parallel arc in the basic form with the involvement of all skiing skills.
