Assumption of the basic gymnastic skills as a preparation for the follow-up study of gymnastic sports major. Acquirement of didactic skills. Those who pass subjects General gymnastics, other compulsory gymnastics subjects, succeed in exam and finish the 1st year can receive than the 3rd degree of trainer’s qualification in General gymnastics.

Classwork contents:

1. General gymnastics - history and content. The rudiments of didactics.

2. Fundamentals of the rhythmic gymnastics - exercises without hand apparatus. Fundamentals of the exercises with the hand apparatus.

3. Elementals of the classic and other dance techniques.

4. Groundings of the "modern" dance techniques.

5. Aerobics.

6. Grounds of the sport gymnastics - acrobatic priming, exercises on the apparatus.

7. Dance composition (choreography). Contests in General gymnastics, rules.
