Annotation -
Last update: doc. ak. mal. Ivan Špirk (10.09.2021)
The course focuses on studio teaching, which reflects the general perception of the work of art. In this course, students will learn other principles of drawing, painting, graphics and integrate them into theoretical and interpretive contexts. During the course, students create their own project, into which they integrate the acquired theoretical knowledge. The common themes of the author's projects will result from an introductory meeting and debate, which should reflect the joint work in previous semesters and bring an understanding of the requirements for the exam. Through the acquired skills, students develop the ability of artistic vision, thinking and perception of surface imaging. The result of the course is a presentation of students' own author's portfolio. Part of the whole process of students' work is continuous reflection and self-evaluation of the art process, which also helps to understand the author's work from the position of art teacher. Understanding and including one's own work in the context of contemporary art, through visits to exhibitions in renowned galleries.
