The course is based on student activity. It is based on their self-study, which usually precedes the given lesson. The course focuses on the connection of mathematics, cognitive and developmental psychology both in the theoretical area and in connection with practice (visits to school facilities).

Prvním cílem kurzu je prohloubit pochopení vybraných partií matematiky a současně rozvinout schopnost studentů taková témata didakticky rozpracovat s oporou o adidaktické situace zasazené do didaktických struktur.

Druhým cílem kurzu je pochopit možnosti diagnostikování žáka (v ZS zaměření na připřavenost dítěte na vstup do školy, na přechod na druhý stupeň ZŠ).

The lectures are designed in such a way that the student studies the given topic in advance, and in the lesson, the structuring of knowledge and the process of generalization occurs as part of a discussion or work in groups. In selected parts, the method of analysis will be emphasized.

Topics: 1) Child's readiness for school mathematics; enrolling the child in school; key activities and level of understanding; interpretation of the child's response; pitfalls; visit to the maer school and 1st year primary school 2) The child's readiness for second grade mathematics. Analysis of a selected mathematics textbook for 5th and 6th year. primary school; visit 6.r. Elementary school and monitoring of pupils' difficulties when transitioning to the second level 3) Individualization of the process with regard to the student's level of development; the specifics of working with an above-average child aged 5-7 and a pupil aged 10-11.

At the opening lesson, the students will be offered topics on which they will work in fours, which they will create on the spot, and which the given fours will choose to work on. According to the choice of the topic, the requirements will be specified to the students in more detail. The joint work is submitted in the credit term in printed form, and this output will be accompanied by a presentation and defense. 100% active participation in classes is assumed.
