The goal of the course is to ensure a closer link between the university education of future teachers and their teaching practice. The students will be assigned to an experienced practising teacher at a primary or secondary school with whom they will cooperate during the semester. This cooperation might consists in helping the teacher with the preparation of lessons, their teaching (so called tandem teaching) and reflection. If the students themselves teach mathematics, they can fulfil the course at their school in cooperation with an experienced colleague.
The following activities can be part of the course: Tutoring in mathematics at the school or outside it. Tandem teaching of mathematics with an experienced colleague. Assistance in the teaching of this colleague. Preparation of teaching aids. Organisation of a mathematical competition at the school. Trialling teaching material prepared with the course of mathematics education. Collecting records of pupils' frequent mistakes. Other activities are possible after consulting the course leader.
There is a Moodle course where the students discuss their activities.

Cílem předmětu je zajistit bližší sepjetí univerzitní přípravy učitelů matematiky s praxí. Studenti, kteří nevyučují, budou přiděleni k určitému učiteli na základní nebo střední školu, u něhož budou v průběhu semestru asistovat. Asistence spočívá v pomoci učiteli při přípravě, realizaci i reflexi výuky. Důraz je kladen zejména na tzv. tandemovou výuku, kdy student působí jako plnohodnotný druhý učitel v tandemu se zkušeným učitelem z praxe.
Studenti, kteří vyučují na škole matematiku, mohou plnit praxi na své škole.
Do plnění předmětu lze započítat následující činnosti: Doučování dítěte z matematiky (neplacené) - v rámci školy či mimo ni. Tandemová výuka matematiky s kolegou ve škole. Asistence kolegovi ve výuce.
Příprava výukových pomůcek. Organizace matematické soutěže na škole. Výuka ve vlastní třídě, v níž student ověří návrhy vzešlé z předmětu didaktika matematiky. Sbírání záznamů o chybách, kterých se žáci opakovně opouštějí. Další po dohodě s vedoucí předmětu.
K předmětu je otevřen kurz v Moodle, kde studenti diskutují o svých činnostech na škole – kurz je společný pro studenty prezenčního i kombinovaného studia.

The course will be sussefully competed after submitting a statement about the activities realised with the course and fulfilling the tasks in Moodle (two seminar works, one with a mutal evaluation, participation in online discussions).

Zápočet bude udělen na základě výkazu práce o provedených aktivitách a na základě splnění úkolů v Moodle (dvě seminární práce, jedna z nich se vzájemným hodnocením, participace v online diskusích).
