The course introduces the concept of artificial intelligence (AI) and defines fundamental concepts. It provides a basic idea of artificial intelligence techniques and their applications, and it discusses the consequences of its use. The aim is to introduce students in basic concepts and techniques of artificial intelligence, especially in the context of education. The course will focus on the following topics: 1. Fundamental concepts, history. 2. Logical approach to AI. 3. Probabilistic access to AI. 4. Machine learning. 5. Multi-agent environment. 6. Philosophical and ethical aspects.
