Theory of Preschool Education II The subject compares the system, aims and content in the educational activities of kindergartens from 1948 to 1990 and in the following period. The sociocentric, pedocentric and convergent essence of an approach to institutional pre-school education are derived from the comparison. It focuses on the documents regarding pre-school education, which arise and become binding after the year 2000. A personality oriented model, as the basis of FEP EE, is explained in its principles as well as in specific description of a teacher's job - respecting the needs of a child, individualisation of pedagogical work. The essence of the school educational programme, class educational programme and individual educational plan is discussed. Methods of pedagogical work (with a focus on educational activities) are explained, with a specific explanation of a pedagogical project, its preparation and realization and contribution to pre-school children. The way of preparing the teacher's work is defined to thematic blocks, situational learning and projects. The output of the subject is a seminar work with a choice of selected topics. The seminar work is to be submitted during the examination period until mid-January.

Cílem předmětu je získat orientaci v minulém i současném stavu vzdělávání předškolních dětí. Získat poznatky o základních dokumentech ve vztahu k mateřské škole i k pedagogické práci - např.metody vzdělávací práce. Porozumět osobnostně orientovanému modelu předškolního vzdělávání, jeho principům i realizačním požadavkům.
