Cyklus seminářů se zaměřuje na aktuální otázky, jimiž se zabývá francouzská lingvodidaktika, zejména na otázky didaktiky francouzštiny jako jazyka cizího. Pozornost je věnována epistomologickým problémům didaktiky cizích jazyků, sociolingvistickým a psycholingvistickým aspektům učení cizím jazykům, kulturní dimenzi v didaktice francouzštiny, kritické analýze metod a dalším otázkám, vždy s ohledem na specifické zaměření účastníků kurzu.
