Course goal:

The knowledge of basic concepts and methods of the inferential statistics including the using of statistical software.

Interpreting the results of computer-conducted tests.

Synopsis: The inferential statistics .Estimation theory. Hypothesis testing:

t-tests for two dependent and independent samples,

F-test,

Linear regression,

Analysis of variance,

Nonparametric tests.

Factor analysis.

An introduction to the cluster and discriminant analysis.
