Annotation -

Students will work in small groups. They will work up a topic or an environment according to their choice. They will prepare series of tasks of different difficulty. These tasks will be solved by other students and discussed from the point of view of both mathematics and didactics. Students will be involved in the research projects realized by members of the department. The results of the research projects will gradually variegate the seminars. Students will be encouraged to reflect on their own work as well as the work of other students.

The goal is to provide students with an opportunity to work independently and to structure their knowledge of mathematics and didactics gained through previous instruction. To perceive mathematics as an integral part of all primary school subjects. To provide the students with a programme of continuous self-development.

The content will be gradually made more precise. The majority of the topics and environments offered have been studied in one of the mathematical courses.

Algebrograms - connection of decadic number system, divisibility and propedeutics of equations.

Regularities - the ways of formulating and testing hypotheses.

Triads - propedeutics of structures and isomorphism.

Additive triangles - propedeutics of functional relations, negative numbers and fractions.

Stepping, cubic solids, combinatorics, probability
