Requirements to the exam

ATTENDANCE

There are 14 lessons a term and only 3 absences are allowed. The only excuse is a long-term illness, which must be confirmed by a doctor. In case of any absence a student is responsible for covering all the materials that were taught during the lesson he/she missed.

EARNING CREDIT

1) GAINING at least 150 POINTS

There will be 4 written tests during Czech classes, each test evaluated by 50 points. Besides that, there will be an oral testing at the beginning of each class where students can get some points. At the end of the term students need to gether 150 points in total not to sit for a written credit test. If students do not gain the required points, they have to pass a written credit test. The points gained in the weekly oral testing and projects will be added to the score of the credit test.

2) PROJECT

There will be one obligatory project (in a form of a presentation worth of 5 points) and two more optional projects (videopresentations for 3 points, posters for 2 ponts). Possible topics will be specified in the Moodle.

3) CONVERSATION

Each student has to pass an oral part of the credit which is the conversation with a teacher on given topics. It will happen at the end of the term (for those who have already gained 150 points during the term) or during the exam period, after passing the written test.

RULES FOR THE CREDIT TEST IN WINTER EXAMINATION PERIOD

Each student has to sign up for (or cancel) any written or oral test via SIS. There are 3 chances but only in the given dates, which means that if you come at the last date and you do not pass, there are not any other chances for you!

The first written credit test date (for those not having gained 150 points) will be obligatory in the last class of the winter semester. The dates for obtaining the winter credit (both the written test and conversation) will be offered during the winter examination period. For those who do not get winter credit by the end of the winter examination period there will be only one extra date in the summer exam period. Students have to pass winter credit by the end of June.
