Last update: RNDr. Jakub Staněk, Ph.D. (14.06.2019)
Basic course of descriptive geometry for first-year students (planimetry, stereometry, projections, perspective collineation , axial affinity, conics, orthogonal projection onto the horizontal plane, Monge projection).
Course completion requirements -
Last update: RNDr. Martina Škorpilová, Ph.D. (14.09.2023)

It is necessary to

1) submit three drawings and one model in time,

2) submit approximately ten individual works in time,

3) pass two written tests,

4) be active during the lecture (maximum three absences).

Correction terms - excluded.

However, written tests may be corrected (one regular and two correction terms).

Credit is a necessary condition for taking the exam.

Requirements to the exam -
Last update: RNDr. Martina Škorpilová, Ph.D. (14.09.2023)

An exam follows the syllabus of the object (i.e. planimetry, stereometry, perspective collineation, axial affinity, conics, orthogonal projection onto the horizontal plane and Monge projection) in the scope of the lecture.

Understanding of constructions from the above-mentioned areas of descriptive geometry as well as the ability of correct professional expression (very important for later pedagogical practice) are tested.

The exam has two part: written (approximaly 160 minutes, usually four or five tasks) and oral. Passing the written part is prerequisite for the oral part.

The credit is required for the examination.

Syllabus -

Planimetry, stereometry.

Projections.

Perspective collineation, axial affinity.

Conics.

Orthogonal projection onto the horizontal plane (and its application to practical problems).

Monge projection.
