The course is aimed at students on an intermediate level and above.<br>
The aim of the course is the practice of reading comprehension skills and exploration of various reading techniques.
It serves primarily as the preparation for the Academic Reading exam, but it is also open to other students who wish to practice reading of academic texts.
The language of instruction is Czech and German.
This is a one-term course, taking place on a weekly basis.

Until further notice the lessons will be realized as distance learning via video-conferences. Detailed information will be provided by the teacher before the beginning of the course. Therefore, the condition for the distance learning is computer/tablet etc. with camera and microphone and sufficient Internet connection.

Kurz je určen pro studenty se vstupní znalostí na úrovni minimálně B1+, kteří se připravují na zkoušku Akademické čtení či si chtějí prohloubit dovednost čtení akademických a odborných textů. Vyučovacím jazykem je čeština a němčina.
Náplní kurzu je nácvik receptivní dovednosti čtení s porozuměním na úrovni B2 se zaměřením na schopnost porozumění delšímu odbornému textu (pochopení základního smyslu textu i zachycení detailní informace).

Course completion requirements

Vzhledem k mimořádné situaci způsobené koronavirovou pandemií bude výuka probíhat online pomocí aplikace skype v podobě videokonferencí. 

Atestace se uděluje na základě pravidelné účasti na online výuce, plnění úkolů zadaných v této výuce či přes e-mail, aktivní spolupráce v kurzu a závěrečného testu.
