The tandem teams should ideally meet once or twice a week and work on the target languages using the material and methods they agree on at the start. It is recommended not to mix languages but not necessary. Learning and teaching methods will be discussed in more detail at the introductory meeting. Keeping learner diary. Final reflection should be handed in at the end. |

50 hours of independent work – includes contact time in the tandem sessions as well as independent studying and preparation time for teaching.
Required work: 1. Intro session (60 mins) to set goals, discuss learning strategies, learning/teaching methods etc. *) 2. Regular meetings with the partner, independent work documented in a notebook or electronic file. 3. Learner diary and final reflection. 4. Final session (60 mins) to discuss the learning/teaching path and present the tandem work in the group. *) 5. Optional meetings with the course supervisor. *)

Only students who are enrolled in language courses at the faculty can register to the tandem. No specific level of language competence is required. |
