The aim of the course is to introduce students to methods of motion programs proposals – interventions for influencing health-oriented fitness in both healthy untrained people and selected groups of patients in primary and secondary prevention. Individual specificities of the of programmes proposals for children, adults, women and men will also be presented and discussed.

Learning outcomes:

  • Define the basic determinants of the field of Health Education

  • Search, critically analyze and orientate in current knowledge of primary and secondary prevention of civilization diseases, in the Czech Republic and abroad

  • Use, sort and select suitable Evidence Based sources as a theoretical support for basic knowledge of selected clinical diseases and prevention options

  • Describe the structure, principles and methods of designing exercise programs for a health-impaired population, compare with a performance-oriented population

  • Conduct an initial interview, take anamnesis, perform relevant initial, control and output diagnostic examination

  • Sort, analyze and interpret the information obtained

  • Formulate specific program goals and determine the method of verifying the achievement of program goals

  • Apply knowledge and procedures to a specific individual model example from practice

  • Compile an individualized plan of movement program

  • Critically evaluate movement programs and the effect of movement intervention

  • Discuss and argue selected procedures and results

  • Actively lead a movement program for a health-impaired population
