This subject is designed to demonstrate the mechanisms of grappling sports and to provide a firsthand
experience in this sports discipline. A positive outcome for students will be the acquisition of safe falling
techniques and grappling exercises to coactivate muscles for stabilization and strengthening.

Upon completion of this course, the student will be proficient in safely executing falling techniques. In the context of health considerations, they will be able to assess potential injury mechanisms and the most common long-term health complications resulting from the performance of selected grappling techniques. Attendance at practical exercises is mandatory, and students are not allowed to exceed more than one absence due to the time constraints.
