The course is based on the system concept of the family. It presents the definition of marriage and the family, the issue of the influence of the orientation and procreation family, the basic typology of instrumental components of partner / family coexistence. He deals with the current family in the Czech Republic, family policy, the problem of extremely young marriages, family myths and disorders of family cohabitation. The basic outlines of family law and social and legal protection of children are presented. Attention is focused on the functionality of the family, vulnerable children in the family and children in particularly difficult situations, comprehensive diagnostics (diagnostic tools) and early intervention (system of state and non-state assistance to children and families with children). The aim of the course is to get acquainted with the basic problems of the current family and family coexistence in a systemic approach. Content definition: 1. System approach to the family, paradigms of the development of partner and family coexistence, orientation family, family code. 2. Family policy. The current family in the Czech Republic, extremely young marriages and their risks, family myths, the crisis in the family and its impact on children. 3. Possibilities of family cohabitation. 4. Law and family cohabitation. 5. Substitute family care. 6. Domestic violence. 7. Field research, social network, interdisciplinary cooperation. 8. Work-life balance system.
