Lectures: Epidemiology of cancer. Prevention and screening. Tumor diagnosis and TNM classification. Reporting of malignant neoplasms. Organization of oncological care in the Czech Republic. Practicals: The purpose of practicals is the teaching with participation of the patients. The students are divided into groups of 5 students. The students obtain the patients history, they perform the examination and suggest the treatment. The patients are discussed during following seminar. The discussion starts with the particular patient and is directed to general isses of his diagnosis, treatment and treatment side effects. Topic of practicals and seminars: Practical planning and realisation of radiotherapy. Diagnostics and treatment of malignant diseases on selected patients.
