The main goal of the course is for medical students to enter medical practice sufficiently prepared for the new ethical challenges that modern medicine brings. The subject should help increase the moral competence of medics and improve the ability to navigate in ethically questionable cases. They should familiarize themselves with the most important topics of bioethics, understand the basic concepts in bioethics and get a basic orientation in ethically questionable case studies. |

Attendance at classes (1 permitted absence, in case of 2 absences a substitute essay on a topic from the missed lesson). The exam is preceded by credit – it is necessary to prepare a processed case report and send it at least 10 days before the date of its defense. For successful completion, it is necessary to get at least 70% in the final written test. |
