Interpretation of ECG at Rest and during Exercise.
7 lessons, 6 topics:
1) Introduction
2) Myocardial Infarction
3) Ischemia, Conduction Disturbances
4) Arrhythmias
5) ECG in Sportsmen,Exercise ECG.
6) Hypertrophy, Minwerals and ECG.
7) Repetition. Credits.
Each lesson: short theoretical introduction, typical curves examples, each student makes an attempt to interpret a curve,
diagnosis via quiz, final lecturer´s explanation of a diagnosis.
Lessons are completely implemented in MS Power Point.

Vstupní požadavky -
Poslední úprava: VIL01834 (23.09.2020)
Prerequisites and co-requisites: anatomy, physiology. Recommended prerequisites for the course are: ANATOMY, PHYSIOLOGY (but not required). The course is intended primarily for students in 3rd-6th year. (1st and 2nd year students) often give up teaching early because they do not have the necessary foundations and cannot follow them. Prerequisits of the subject are: anathomy, physiology.
Prerequisites of the subject are: Anathomy and Physiology. (but they are not compulsory)
Subject is recommended maily to the students of the 3rd - 6th year of study. (Students of the 1st and 2nd year often give up the subject before the end, because they miss the basic knowledge of physiology and anathomy and they cannot understand logical realtions.

Range of knowledge for credit test:
21 theoretical questions + evaluation of 3 ECG curves
Correctly diagnose ECG curves for the following pathological states: 1) Acute Myocardial Infarction, Old Myocardial Infarction. 2) Ischemia, False Ischemia. Conduction Defects - Tawara Bundle Blocks. 3) Hypertrophy of the Left Ventr icle, Hypertrophy of the Right Ventricle. 4) Arhythmias, Atrioventricular Blocks I., II. a III. dgr. 5) Athletic ECG, Load ECG. 6) Hypertrophy and Ventricular Overstrain. Extracardial Factors.
A total of 6 courses (PowerPoint presentations) are included in Moodle.
The credit test implemented in Moodle will contain 24 questions - multichoice type - to choose more possible answers correctly.
I will make the test visible in November, so it will be possible to pass it before the end of the winter semester. The test is not quite simple,
but I will judge it somewhat more leniently than is usually because of the extraordinary circumstances.
During the semester, there will also be practical teaching of spiroergometry in small groups - a complex stress test of cardiorespiratory fitness.

Knowledge for credit test: Correctly diagnose and interpret ECG curves typical for the following pathological disturbances: 1) Myocardial infarction acute, old, location.LBBB, RBBB, LAH, LPH. 3) Hypertrophy of left and right ventricle. 4) Arrhythmias, atrioventricular blocks of the Ist, IInd a IIIrd dgr. 5) ECG in sportsmen, Load ECG. 6) Hypertrophy and overload of ventricles.
