Education in surgery in the sixth year of the general medicine program takes place in an eight-week teaching block. This consists of three weeks of general adult surgery, three weeks of paediatric surgery, one week of traumatology, one week of cardiovascular surgery and neurosurgery.
During the second week of general adult surgery education will take place partially in the department of the Military Hospital in Střešovice. Classes in the department of the Military Hospital in Střešovice starts at 7 a.m. by doctor’s round. The key from the cloakroom will be available before 7 a.m. at the secretariat of that department (1st floor, pavilion CH).
