Problems of vocal conducting. Conducting and its importance. Conducting as nonverbal communication. Conductor conductor and orchestral conductor. Learning outcomes of the course unit The aim of the course is to acquire basic gestures: clock patterns, conclusions, split gesture, preparatory gesture and onset. Creation and consolidation of basic clocking skills and their practical application in choral performance of song material. The basic study material are Czech, Moravian and Slovak folk songs and easy choral compositions.
