Anotace
Poslední úprava: JOSIFKO (09.01.2008)
This course and the accompanying excursions will introduce the students to the history of the Czech Republic and of its capital Prague and show the development of its urban structure and main social functions. On this single - and beautiful - example students should gain a deeper understanding of the particularities and intricacies of urban life as it evolved through centuries. Excursions to other urban sites in the Czech Republic will be an occasion to compare various types of cities and of their development, typical for continental European culture in general.
