The course provides students with an introduction to the issues of pedagogical-psychological diagnostics. Describes diagnostic criteria, diagnostic process and selected diagnostic methods. It motivates the teacher to work in a targeted manner with other professionals working in the upbringing and education of children, pupils and students. In accordance with the current legislation, it specifies the competencies of counseling staff of the school counseling workplace, resp. school counseling facility.
The aim of the course is to introduce students to the issues of pedagogical-psychological diagnostics. To provide students with information about diagnostic methods and procedures that are currently used in practice.
1. Basic diagnostic concepts, ethical aspects of the diagnostic process.
2. Areas of diagnostics. Diagnostic procedure.
3. The current system of counseling services in education, its legislative anchoring.
4. Diagnostics in the school counseling workplace.
5. Diagnostics in pedagogical-psychological counseling.
6. Diagnostics in a special pedagogical center.
7. Mandatory diagnoses.
8. Characteristics of specific diagnostic methods, specific diagnostic situations, conclusions, recommendations, support measures.
9. Demonstration of selected psychological and special-pedagogical tests.
