Kurz je určen především pro studenty na pokročilé úrovni anglického jazyka (C1/C2). Je koncipován jako
intenzivní procvičování všech receptivních a produktivních jazykových dovedností. Cílem kurzu je rozšířit slovní
zásobu studentů, prohloubit jejich znalost kolokací a idiomů a zvýšit jejich povědomí o komplexnosti jazyka. Kurz
pomůže studentům rozvinout dovednosti v obecném jazyce, jakož i schopnost používat anglickou matematickou
terminologii.

The course is intended predominantly for students at advanced levels of English (C1/C2). It is designed as an
intensive practice of all receptive and productive skills. The aim of the course is to develop students' range of
vocabulary, broaden their knowledge of collocations and idioms and raise their awareness of language
complexity. By the end of the course, students will have enhanced their language skills and will be able to use
English mathematical terminology.

Podmínky zakončení předmětu -
Aktivní účast v seminářích, 2 testy (Listening, Reading, Use of English, Writing - level C1plus/C2), ESP (test stejného formátu jako v jiných jazykových kurzech), účast minimum 50%, za tři absence a méně 10 bonusových bodů. Pro obdržení zápočtu studenti musí získat 70 bodů ze 100. Pokud úspěšně absolvují všechny čtyři kurzy, budou jim uznány následující části závěrečné zkoušky: Listening, Writing, Use of English and Reading. Pokud úspěšně ukončí méně než čtyři kurzy, získají za každý semestr 5 bonusových bodů.
Povaha kontroly studia předmětu vylučuje opakování této kontroly.

Active participation in class, 2 tests (Listening, Reading, Use of English, Writing - level C1plus/C2), ESP test (the same format as in other language courses), attendance (50% required, if 3 absences and less, 10 bonus points). Students must attain 70 points out of 100 points to meet the requirements for obtaining the credit. If they successfully complete all four courses, they will be exempted from the sections Listening, Writing, Use of English and Reading of the final exam. If they complete less than 4 courses, they will obtain semester points (5 per each semester).
The nature of the subject's examination excludes the repetition of such examination.

V každém semestru budou probrány tři lekce z učebnice (viz sekce Literatura) a lekce specializované angličtiny (rozvržení studijního materiálu bude korespondovat s obsahem jiných jazykových kurzů).
