The course is primarily intended for Erasmus students. It covers various topics of Remote Sensing (RS), Geographical Information Systems (GIS) and Cartography:

2. RS data: USGS archives (Landsat, MODIS), Sentinel-2A*
3. Land cover classification*
4. Object based classification
5. RADAR remote sensing*
6. LiDAR basics
7. Copernicus land service, RS Big Data and Cloud computing (Google Earth Engine and Sentinel Hub Apps)
8. Open GIS and Open Data, QGIS I.
9. QGIS II.
10. Spatial Data Analysis using GIS
11. Automation of spatial data processing and analysis*
12. Cartography in a nutshell

To complete the course and to get credits you shall:

• Participate at the lectures (two absences are accepted)
• Deliver 4 assignments in topics marked with * (Remote Sensing – 3, GIS Analysis – 1) before 10^th May of the respective academic year.
