Anotace

Předmět není poután výrazně homogenní koncepcí, nýbrž formou četby doplňuje rozhled, který si postupně vytvářejí
studenti programu Aplikovaná etika. Cílem je širší orientace studentů v rozličnosti současných etických témat a
argumentů. Důraz je při tom kladen diskusní rozměr spolupráce: na odvahu k samostatnému, kritickému
promýšlení etických otázek a na růst studenta ve schopnosti kultivovaného dialogu.

The course is not bound by a distinctly homogeneous concept, but by way of reading it complements the knowledge that students of the Applied Ethics programme gradually develop. The aim is to give students a broader orientation to the variety of contemporary ethical issues and arguments. The emphasis is on the collaborative dimension of discussion: on the courage to think independently and critically about ethical issues and on the growth of the student's capacity for cultivated dialogue.
