EXAMINATION IN FORENSIC PATHOLOGY – DATES
Dates for the exam in Forensic Pathology will be opened for the following periods:
from 22nd to 25th August and from 29th August to 1st September 2022.
Electronic registration on SIS will start two weeks before the listed dates.
Important Notification: No more dates will be open for the examination in Forensic Pathology after 15th June – MUDr. Dvořák is the only examiner and will be out of the department. Students who do not apply for any opened date until 15th June can only be examined in late July or in September. Plzeň 27. 5. 2022
Pre-terms for the exam in Forensic Pathology will be as follows:
Friday 13th May - at 3 p.m. 4 students, at 4 p.m. 4 students
Wednesday 18th May – at 4 p.m. 4 students, at 5 p.m. 4 students
Friday 20th May – at 3 p.m. 4 students, at 4 p.m. 4 students
The exams in Forensic Pathology on 13th, 18th and 20th May will take place in Šafránkův pavilon (ŠAF A).
Further exam terms (time span from 23rd May to 17th June) will appear on SIS on Monday 16th May. The location of exams held between 23rd May and 17th June depends on the availability of seminar rooms. – It will be announced later.

Lectures / Seminars: Due to the high number of covid cases and the fact that the Department of Forensic Pathology - in general - deals with infectious diseases, the lectures/seminars will take place online. All lectures/seminars will be uploaded on MOODLE, where you can replay them at any time during the semester:
1. Forensic pathology; The appearance of the body after death; Identification of the dead 2. Blunt-force injury (including a separate presentation on Bitemark); Sharp-force injury 3. Pediatric forensic pathology (SIDS, CAN, SBS) 4. Compression of the neck; Drowning 5. Road traffic injuries 6. Handgun wounds 7. Electrical injury; Death from lightning; Injury caused by heat and cold; Carbon monoxide poisoning; Alcohol-related death
Forensic Pathology – Examination Year IV – General Medicine Summer semester of the academic year 2021/2022
Examination / credit – dates will be announced later (have to be coordinated with classes for Czech students and the overall schedule). The examination is oral, there is no test. You will be assigned two questions (see List of examination questions below) and get time to prepare the answers. During the examination, you will also be awarded the credit.
