Sylabus

Differential diagnosis in pneumology

Elective course recommended for 6th year

Dates: every Monday during the two semesters after October 16th, 2017

Dates: 2-3 PM , Monday,

Venue: Department of Pneumology, 2nd Faculty of Medicine and University Hospital Motol

Course will be divided into two semesters of the academic year 2017/18

In the introduction, participants will be acquainted with the theoretical basis of all serious pneumological diseases. Will be discussed issues of epidemiology, pathology, pathophysiology, clinical signs, diagnosis of them and in greater details the differential diagnosis. According to the agreement with the teacher, students participate in a direct investigation of patients will be able to attend and participate bronchoscopy with cytological examination.

According to the interests the students will be able to be present during the ward rounds, participate in examination of the patients or be present on indication seminars. Students will be able to participate directly during endobronchial therapeutic interventions such as stenting or laser.

At the end of each semester, students are given credit.
