The aim of the subject is to help students who have just started their studies in Medicine to get a basic understanding of technical medical terms by analysing their language structure. The subject allows the students to understand terminological systems used in anatomical, clinical and pathological practice. Current medical papers, anatomical textbooks, medical reports or diagnosis descriptions written in Latin as well as other materials are frequently used in class.
