Anotace

The course is focused on deepening practical knowledge of human anatomy through active student involvement in the demonstration and description of anatomical specimens. Students will learn to use correct anatomical terminology and develop pedagogical skills necessary for teaching anatomy to others. Emphasis is placed on independent work, accurate interpretation of anatomical relationships, and communication in an educational setting.

Cíl předmětu

• To deepen the knowledge of topographic and systematic anatomy through hands-on work with human anatomical specimens

• To teach students how to accurately identify and describe anatomical structures

• To develop students’ presentation skills and ability to lead small groups during anatomy instruction

• To provide the fundamentals of didactics and ethical principles related to working with human cadaveric material

Podmínky zakončení předmětu

• Attendance at the introductory seminar

• Individual demonstration of a selected anatomical specimen in front of the instructor

• Active participation in practical classes 

  • Demonstration of four two-hour-long stations of own choice during the dissection classes of English Curriculum
