Souhrn a rozsah znalostí umožňuje absolventům stáží běžnou orientaci v problematice ORL onemocnění, v jejich
rozpoznání, diferenciální diagnostice a léčbě, seznamuje s možnými komplikacemi těchto onemocnění a jejich
léčbou. Poskytuje představu o postavení otorhinolaryngologie a její návaznosti na ostatní obory medicíny,
seznamuje se speciálními metodami v ORL oblasti užívanými.
