Epoché and Time Epoché is understood here as an act that radically modifies the world position of those practicing it. First, it will be a matter of clarifying the profile of the practical epoché as such. Against this background, the question arises to what extent the experience of time is modified by the realization of epoché. This is followed by further questions, such as whether the practical conversion induced by epoché is able to bring about a new, habitualizing form of temporality and also to provide a basis for revealing the existential conditions of experienced world time and its modes of objectification. And finally: How can this be shown in diverse cultural contexts such as ancient skepticism, forms of Buddhism, and phenomenology?
