The aim of this course is to acquaint students with alternative sport activities, which are focused on water sports – especially rowing.

  • OSH, entrance diagnostics of students, rowing on ergometer machine.
  • Rules of balance on rowing boat, practising of rowing technique – oar positions.
  • Rowing with perpendicular blade.
  • Exercises for improving of phases of rowing stroke.
  • Exercises of phases of rowing stroke with perpendicular blade.
  • Technique of catch and rowing stroke (anatomy of a stroke).
