The subject is focused on water sports and cycling, preparation, implementation and overall organization and management of the course in a school and commercial environment. Part of the course is training in organizing swimming, cycling and running competitions in the wild for all age groups. Practical lessons in swimming, rowing, canoeing, windsurfing, diving, and cycling are focused on theoretical knowledge and basic motor skills.

Training of the basic skills needed for sports on water and in the aquatic environment and their use in practical teaching. Obtaining theoretical knowledge for the implementation of sports courses, concentration and competitive events.

Graduate of the course:

- Can recognize basic swimming, rowing and cycling motor skills and their involvement in the performed fetch.

- Can describe the processes of organizing a sports event, personnel and financial provision and ensuring security according to applicable legislation.

- Can explain the conclusions from the kinematic analysis and apply simple preparatory exercises based on the conclusions.

- Can plan and prepare a sports event such as a sports course, training session, competition, especially its staffing, budget, promotion of the event, selection of location, preparation of content and program of the course, provision of transport, preparation of documents necessary for health and safety, GDPR, final report from the course.

- Is able to technically correctly perform the basic motor skill in water, on water, on a bike with the involvement of learned movement skills.

- He is able to plan, prepare and implement a sports course, concentration, competitive sports event focused on water sports and cycling for children and pupils of kindergartens, primary and secondary schools, registered associations, sports clubs and other organizations.

- He is able to work with different methods and approaches such as the frontal, game, task and competition method.

- active participation in the course in full

- completion of an oral interview based on theoretical knowledge

- meeting the specified technical skills of water sports and cycling

- preparation and defense of documentation for planning, preparation and implementation of a sports event

- oral interview on the topics of defined areas

- presentation of prepared documents for planning, preparation and implementation of a sports event

Course instructions will be sent by email. Theoretical knowledge:

Orientation in the issue of first aid, peculiarities of children's sporting events, psychology and personality typology, motor learning, general pedagogy, rowing and cycling equipment and gear, organization of rowing and cycling competitions in the Czech Republic, basic biomechanical principles, safety when conducting a sports course and necessary legislation the organization of a sporting event.

Course content:

Teaching of basic rowing and cycling motor skills, use of kinematic analysis, teaching and methodology of rowing sports. Teaching theoretical knowledge for the realization of a sporting event.
