Předmět je koncipován jako specifická část biomechaniky člověka s konkrétním zaměřením na pohybovou a sportovní činnost. Předmět studenty seznámí s teoretickým základem pohybového systému lidského těla a se základy evaluace a deskripce. Dále se předmět zaměřuje na pohybovou stránku lidského těla se zamřením na sportovní pohyby. Nedílnou součásti je interakce lidského těla s okolím při pohybové činnosti včetně svalových aktivit. V neposlední řadě je součástí předmětu i náhrada a modelace těla při sportovních činnostech včetně zpracování biologických signálů.
