The course presents sequential managerial activities - planning, organizing, selecting and deploying staff, leadership and control and shows their applications in the field of sport. Apart from the above, it also deals with basic marketing activities.

Understanding and interpretation of professional texts in the field of physical education and sport. Development of the ability to communicate in the subject field. Attainment of the competence level related to receptive/productive activities and strategies defined as B1.1; B1.1 lexical competence according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR/CEFRL).

Credit requirements

Regular class attendance . Two absences per semester are tolerated. In case of 3rd and 4th absence students are reguired to submit work assigned by teacher. 5 and more absences do not meet the basic reguirements for being granted credit.

These rules do not apply to students with individual study plans.

During the semester the students are reguired to prepare presentations on chosen topics (appr.7 minutes. Presentations are based on authentic academic texts in English.)

In order to meet the learning objectives and your expectations, we will use a combination of all available and permissible communication channels when teaching foreign languages, namely the MS Teams platform, the correspondence method, consultations and ongoing verification of your language competence.
