Students will have the opportunity to acquire and develop the fundamental gymnastics skills necessary for tumbling activities, trampolin, and others select pieces of gymnastics apparatus. The student will be exposed to a variety of teaching strategies, styles and learning environments. Attention will be paid to safety, skill analysis and group management.

Aim:

Application of theoretic findings of education by acrobatic gymnastics on choice apparatus:

acrobatics,

vault,

jumps from small trampolin,

horizontal bar,

parallel bars,

rings.

Acquirement methods of spotting and curriculum didactics.

Sylabus
1. Gymnastics for children. Gymnastics games. Acrobatic preparation - support and firming up

Rings - statics elements, hangs

2. Acrobatic preparation - take off preparation (trampolin). Parallel bars - arms trevelling, swinging. Horizontal bar - pull over , hips circles (background of spotting)

3. Tumbling - hand stand, cardwheel, statics positions. Rings swinging - swinging

Vault - crouch vault, indirect spotting.

4. Tumbling - take off and rotattion preparation. Vault - straddle vault. Horizontal bar -

back hip circle, form stradlle support reverse kip, hang parparation, swinging.

4. Gymnatics terminology I.; Tumbling - cartwheel, round off, preparation for hand sprig.

5. Trampolin - straight jumps, long flay to roll. Parallel bars - upper arms supprot, swinging

6. Wall bars, bars, rings - support preparation, hang preparation and firming up preparation. Vault - vaulting box - crouch vault.

7. Tumbling - gymnastics leaps, hand spring. Rings - support statics elements.

Trampolin - forward somersault.
