Sharing clinical experience and interests in physiotherapy. The course is designed as a virtual program involving several universities that implement the Physiotherapy and Applied Science Program. The program includes intensive virtual communication, online meetings and individual student activities as well as small group work.

The aim of the course is to provide students with the knowledge, skills and general competencies so that after the completion of the course the students:

  • are able to improve their language skills in general and are able to talk about physiotherapy (study) related subjects in particular
  • are able to gain insight into physiotherapy and health care systems in another country (course contents, motivation and interests, job opportunities and preferences, etc.)
  • are aware of (intercultural) differences with regard to physiotherapy (study) and aware of ‘the meaning of being healthy’ in different international/intercultural perspective
  • are aware of the role of a physiotherapist in enhancing physical activity in a different international/intercultural perspectives
