The aim of the course is to gain basic knowledge of less used therapeutic approaches or systems in the Czech Republic - concepts according to Maitland, Butler, and other selected approaches or methodologies. The main focus of the course is to acquire skills in the analysis and practical training of selected manual-therapeutic procedures in the field of physiotherapy from the above-mentioned approaches.

Learning Outcomes:

The aim of the course is to provide students with the knowledge, skills and general competencies so that after the completion of the course the students:

  • demonstrate knowledge of the principles of less used physiotherapeutic approaches in the Czech Republic
  • demonstrate the ability to perform selected diagnostic and therapeutic elements of the concept according to Maitland
  • demonstrate the ability to perform selected diagnostic and therapeutic elements of the concept according to McKenzie
  • demonstrate the ability to perform selected diagnostic and therapeutic elements of the concept according to Mulligan
  • demonstrate the ability to perform selected diagnostic and therapeutic elements of the concept according to Ludmila Mojzisova
  • demonstrate the ability to perform selected diagnostic and therapeutic elements of the concept according to Bobath
