The aim of the course is to apply practical skills learned in the teaching of vocational subjects "Examination Methods and Basic Therapeutic Procedures I, II and III "," Physical Therapy I and II "," Soft Tissue Techniques and Reflex Massage" including vocational subjects I and II. year. The goal is to master examination of the patient, application of basic therapeutic methods in the field of physiotherapy including document management.

Learning Outcomes:

The aim of the course is to provide students with knowledge, the skills and the general competencies so that after the completion of the course the students:

  • demonstrates the ability to take an anamnesis and take into consideration the anamnestic data during the examination and implementation of the therapy
  • demonstrates the ability to propose and perform the kinesiological examination of a patient
  • demonstrates the ability to suggest the therapy plan in various diagnoses
  • demonstrates the ability to apply basic therapeutic techniques in the patient under the supervision, including the subsequent evaluation of their effectiveness
  • demonstrates the ability to independently develop protocols on the course of the examination and the therapy of the patient
  • demonstrates the ability to present the patient with a given diagnosis and discuss the applied examination and therapy
  • demonstrates the ability to orientate in medical documentation, including the ICD codes of an individual physiotherapeutic procedures
