The course introduces the possibilities of using natural healing resources in the rehabilitation treatment and their effects on the human body. Furthermore, it introduces indications of spa treatment and new trends in this field. The course is also aimed at acquiring skills in the application of balneotherapy treatments.

Learning Outcomes:

The aim of the course is to provide students with knowledge, the skills and the general competencies so that after the completion of the course the students:

  • demonstrates knowledge of the possibilities of using natural healing resources in the field of rehabilitation treatment and their effects on the human body
  • demonstrates an understanding of indications and contraindications of balneotherapy procedures and procedures
  • demonstrates the ability to apply balneotherapy procedures
  • demonstrates the ability to evaluate the effect of balneotherapy therapy
